I will be in this cast for the next 6 weeks, but at least I have fingers again. I can kinda use my hand. The hardest part is the doctor says well you can't wash your hand for the next 6 weeks... we in a pandemic, I need to be able to at least clean my hand. He says to me well that is what baby wipes are for. I am still dubious. I was able to wash the dump off my hand before the put the cast on. They didn't do that the other day in the ER.
The second hardest part is 30 years of touch typing has not prepared me to type one handed.
